April 8th, 1862 – One Day After the Battle of Shiloh.

Lost in the woods after the battle, two Union soldiers, one a Christian and the other not, are trying to find their way. Close by, a lost Confederate searches for his wounded friend. When the two Union soldiers find him first, one wants to leave him for dead. However, the other insists upon rescuing him and getting him help. Little do they realize that they are now being tracked by the lost Confederate who is still searching for his friend. What Others Are Saying

Recently, we showed "Loving Your Enemy" to our youth group.  After the video, students were given a card with questions about the lessons they learned from the presentation.  Many of the students noted they learned that -- no matter what the situation may be -- we need to love others, even our enemies.  I believe the movie had a positive impact and some of the students even purchased a copy of the DVD.

At the main conclusion, Geno DiMaria and his brother, Dominic, talked about the experience of making the video, and the challenges that it presented.  Then students were allowed to ask questions.  The students were very interested and had many questions.   Overall, this was a very impactive youth service, and the students not only learned about love, but they were inspired to take the initiative and use their talents for God.

I recommend the video, highly, and I am looking forward to the next one...

LOVING THE ENEMY is a worthwhile effort from the young filmmakers at us4HIM Productions. Set during the Civil War (one of my personal favorite subjects) the story deals with and portrays the Christian concept set forth by Jesus Christ to "Love our enemies" in a very visual way.

Not only does the movie portray this concept, but also the message spoken by Christ in John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." This action is strikingly shown (throughout the course of the film).

I would recommend anyone interested in  the Civil War, and how Christianity may have played out during the war to watch this movie. It has a great lesson to share.

I was so impressed with your film, "Loving the Enemy." I shared it with my
Ladies Bible Study since we were studing the same topic and they were
equally impressed with the theme, acting, photography and production. I
think it is a great tool to use with youth, allowing them to see one of the
different avenues you can direct your God given talents and abilities in
sharing the Gospel message.

I wish you the best and I will be praying that God will guide you through
the right doors in taking your mission to the next level.

Yours in Christ,
Becky K.

My husband and I watched your movie tonight.  We watched all of it... the movie, the trailer, the bloopers, the message from you, and most of the slide show.  I think you did a great job.  It's believable, thought provoking, realistic, and has a great message to promote the kingdom of GOD.  And we laughed at the bloopers.  I hope you do many more.
